What I've taken

As this semester comes to an end, I can honestly say that I've learned more about health care in general, but specifically to Long Term Care. It is astonishing how much Long Term Care is taken for granted and how far we have come and how far we have to go in making it the best we can. Fortunately, Medicare as helped residents get coverage they would not have else where. I still believe there should be more coverage and more benefits for residents. The first day of class, we were asked if we saw ourselves going into Long Term Care and my first instinct was no, but after this class I really saw that I could see myself helping the patients that don't need a cure, but need care.
